Louis Vuitton: Traveling Man

There are three collections I look forward to every fashion season, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy and Lanvin. Well I look forward to more than just those three but they are usually my favorite. Every Vuitton season I go a bit nuts, I would seriously would wear every single item in this collection without making any changes. From the tailored suits, plaid scarves, and leather trim sandals this collection evokes ultimate luxury. This is the first season for Kim Jones, the new menswear designer for Vuitton.

His inspiration came from the aviation man who travels around the world in style. Jones implemented a new LV logo into the menswear collection, but not replacing the historic monogram but more of a stamp for this debut collection. He used the LV pattern but in larger scale with the traveling gear and backpacks. The accessories were cool with cut out patterns in the shoes, rope necklaces and leather agendas. Jones brought his own personal style to the brand but at the same time maintaining the sense of luxury Louis Vuitton is known for.
