Burberry Prorsum: Parkas and All
Burberry is one of those iconic brands that will probably never go out of style. With technology now days at a constant high pace, the fashion house has transformed with the internet causing fashion frenzy in the net. Burberry lovers can all watch the fashion show livestream through their website as it walks in Milan. Creative director Christopher Bailey even begins tweet about the upcoming show days before it walks.
This season Bailey broke away from what we saw last season, which was dedicated to the iconic Burberry coats; switched it up to some great parkas. There is a park for everyone in this collection but my favorite jackets were the cropped jackets which give an edgy look to the clothes. The collection did seem a bit too cold for it to be a spring/summer collection but overall there were some great looks. There were a lot of details that went into the clothes from the square and triangle figure patters on the shirts and sweaters to the loose fitting neck line in the shirts. There was a motif of weaving in this collection, with shoes, knitted sweaters and oversize day bags. This will be a profitable collection for the house as they give what the customer would go out and buy.

Burberry Fall /Winter 2011 Campaign
The latest Burberry campaign features only British native actors and models. Newcomers Amber Anderson, Molly Smith, Thomas Penfound, and Felicity Jones were the lucky ones chosen to be featured for the British luxury fashion house. Photographed my Mario Testino on a solid background bringing out the colors of the iconic coats.
