At Lanvin, Alber Elbaz and Lucas Ossendrijver caused a silent storm with the latest spring collection. Like many of the Spring shows there was a sense of rock and roll in the clothes with cropped blazers, patten coats and bright colors for formal wear and not to mention all of the leather. Lanvin came out with every form of leather possible, from trousers, shirts and jackets. The accessories were also leather infused with leather wrapped sandals, lace tied oxford shoes and traveling messenger bags. Some pieces were a nice change of tone from all of the leather though, with the wrapped sweaters and color dyed trousers made a nice transition throughout the collection. With all of the different pieces the collection the clothes still worked, not completely loud like other shows but the clothes spoke for themselves.
