Balenciaga: Visor Cut

Talk about a cool pair of shorts, the latest resort collection from the house of Balenciaga gives girls best pair of shorts I have seen in such a long time. The house continues with the idea of layering that we saw in their fall collection with the girls wearing several items mounted on top of each other but still maintaining a light feel. Balenciaga’s creative direction Nicolas Ghesquière plays with the idea of silk but in a large proportion, with flowing skirts and tops all made out of the same material.

This collection brought an assortment of looks with knee length dresses, printed tops, leather bomber jackets (one of my favorite pieces aside from the trousers), and bolero jackets. The accessories were not far behind with knee length boots, v-cut heels, clog inspired pumps, and cap visors that seemed a very cool pairing in this collection. Overall the collection is very cool; there is something that every woman can wear no matter what age they might be. The Spaniard brand just opened a museum dedicated to the late designer Cristobal Balenciaga in his native town of Getaria, Spain.
