Lanvin: The Coolest Girl Out There

The latest Lanvin collection expresses the joy of what it means to be a woman, but better yet a fashionable woman. Alber Elbaz brought Persian fashion to the island of New York City by showing a presentation worthy of Paris fashion week. The inspiration for this collection came from what the women in Elbaz mind would wear and what his fashion followers would love to buy. There is a large variation from separates to long dresses which gives a sense of flexibility to the collection.

Elbaz gave us ruffle tops, flowing cotton skirts, metallic maxi dresses, fringe texture, and a whole range of different swim suits. The accessories were chunky; with the necklaces, chokers and bangles all made to accessorize any type of occasion you might need to dress up for(even the local pool). Overall I really enjoyed this collection, well I always enjoy a Lanvin collection but this was a great surprise in the mist of all the scuba and polka dot inspired resort shows.
